Happy Day!

Have you ever been so nervous in front of your family and other family members? I have.

On Sunday 26th  of November, it was Frankie my cousins first Holy communion. After Mass, we all went straight to the restaurant where we celebrated her holy communion in Epsom. When we got there, Frankie's uncle said a prayer to start us of with. When he finished praying Frankie, her sister, brother and I sang a song to celebrate .

When we finished singing, we had to line up in line to get our food. When we were lining up, I almost slipped because I did not see the water on the floor. When I got my food I went and sat at the table where my mum was at then I ate. When we finished eating, we had to sing again and the song we sang was called 'Happy Day'. When everyone was ready we started singing. The first person that sang was Frankie, then it was me. I was so nervous when I was singing because everyone was staring at me, so I said to myself "Don't be shy". I tried my best until the end and I felt very proud of myself.

When everyone had finished eating, we sang again 'We are the world'. When we finished singing that song we all went home and had a sleep.

School Direction

If you like the band One Direction and you want to see the Tamaki version watch this movie. The movie features the boy band from primary school to 50 years later. You might recognize some familiar faces doing  some funny moves. I enjoyed this movie because my cousin was in it and I liked their song and it was a great choice of  of choosing that song.

Taufakaniua

We have been practising for weeks, it was challenging but it was exciting. Last night was a night that Saint Patrick's school raised a large amount of money for a new junior playground. Six groups performed song and dance from different cultures. I was in the Tongan group. We performed the Taufakaniua to a big crowd of people and parents. Taufakaniua is a traditional war dance for the Tongan people and the Tongan Catholic schools. My highlight of the night was when our group leader's little brother performed. It was not a traditional Tongan dance but we included it to get the audience's attention. The audience stood up and cheered wildly. I would like to thank adults who helped us especially Israel and Antonio who used to come to St Patrick's. They were great leaders and role models to us.

Best day I've ever had!!

The 16th of May was our first time to Technicraft. When we lined up, I asked my self can I do this? and then I thinked to myself for a minute then  I said yes , I can so I got on the bus and stared outside as we left school. When we got to Edgewater college I saw Mrs Bullot. She was waiting outside the car park

When we got to the Tech class we saw Mrs Scott our Tech teacher. When we went into the Tech room, it was so nice and big. When we got into groups of 3 and 4 we chose which table to work at. My people in my group were Taniela and Manase. When we set down we copied the staff on the board.

When we finished we started cooking. We got the recipes we started baking our chocolate muffins when we first check our muffins Mrs Scott said two more minutes so we waited for 2 minutes then I stand up and went to the oven and check it then it was ready so I took it out then we waited for a minute then we ate our muffins.

About me

We have been learning about the difference between personal and private information online.

Kia Ora! My name is Tevita and I am 11 years old. I go to St. Patrick's school in Panmure. I love going to school because I  love to work and play with my friends. I have 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Their names are Sio, Uinisieti, Anastacia, Joyla, and Michael. My favourite rugby team's are Chiefs,Crusaders and the Hurricanes. I like to play rugby so I watch them play on T.V and cheer for them. Sometimes after school my brother and I play rugby and when we get bored of that, we listen to Tongan songs.
